NATHAN PETERSON

About Me

My work experience was gained working over a 13+ year span at outpatient mental health clinics, non-profit agencies, inpatient clinics/hospitals, schools, institutes and through a private practice. I helped open an OCD treatment center in Utah.

Most therapists want to talk about issues instead of actually do the work to help you recover. While talking can be helpful; I believe that using the proper therapy is important. For example, I use exposure and response prevention when working with OCD/Anxiety. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for generalized anxiety disorder. CBIT for tics and tourettes. I make sure the therapy used in sessions works best for you and your recovery.

You could expect to receive sincere, ethical, assertive and emphatic support even in those moments when denial and avoidance are your worst enemies. I will challenge your ego and promote the awakening and nurture of your real self.
